Angela Sun is an American journalist television presenter sportscaster and documentary film maker. Born on 19 October 1979, in Santa Clara County of California Angela Sun is an Award-Winning Journalist, Sportscaster and actor. Her education includes Sociology and Communication at the University of California. Sun was an excellent surfer, and was a participant in numerous pro-am surfing contests. It led to her be sponsored by big brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans, etc. The fame that she earned from the events she took part in that led her into the world of entertainment. She later worked as an actor, sportscaster, investigational filmmaker, journalist and reporter. Sun is a former anchor that has been on many different news channels. She was a reporter in 2003 as an anchor for Fox Sports Net. She also hosted American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman as well as Jonny Moseley in 2012. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute from 2014 to 2015. She was the sole Asian-American to ever appear in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun is a well-known actor who has been featured in a variety of films. Her roles include Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009), Shackled 2005 Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun's 2014 feature length document Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a documentary about the negative effects of the plastic waste on oceans. She created, wrote and directed it herself.
