Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to the catchy electro-pop tracks "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands out as a contemporary musician with her distinctive soprano voice and talent for making songs that are catchy and emotional. She is similar to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap as well as other artists similar to her. Polydor Records offered her a deal with a major label. The singer began to work on her preparations for her release.
