Ruth Wilson
Ruth Wilson has won two Olivier Awards along with a Golden Globe Award. She had her Broadway premiere in Nick Payne's Constellations opposite Jake Gyllenhaal. She is best known for her performance as Alison Lockhart in the Showtime series "The Affair" (Golden Globe Award). Film credits include The Little Stranger, Dark River, I Am the Pretty Thing that Lives in the House The Suite FranASSaise, Locke, Saving Mr. Banks, The Lone Ranger and Anna Karenina. The Donmar Warehouse, she received Olivier Awards as Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, in the film Anna Christie with Jude Law. In the film Hedda gabler, she was nominated as a Best Actress Olivier Award nominee. Wilson played in the BBC miniseries "Luther," nominated for 8 Emmy Awards. "Luther," the BBC miniseries Jane Eyre earned her nominations for BAFTA and Golden Globes, in The category for Best Leading Actress. In 2007, her London first stage appearance was in Maxim Gorky's Philistines. For 2008, she was in the role of Ingmar on the stage in Through a Glass Darkly at the Almeida Theatre.
